Knitting for social justice

Starting in September 2010, over 40 students at Nova joined the knitting & crocheting group in Debbie's room. Parents, students, and friends donated copious amounts of yarn, needles, and even books for our endeavors. Some students already knew how to knit or crochet, but many did not. By late February we were ready to donate all that we had made to the SBOC. Please visit SBOC here.
We then began making creations for the Camp Ten Trees auction. Feel free to visit Camp Ten Trees here.
This fabulous crafty art has taken off at Nova and we are always welcoming of donations of yarn and needles of any kinds or sizes.
