Below are the competencies for each required chapter in the algebra text, Discovering Algebra used at Nova.  It also states what standards are going to be required for graduation on the End of Course Exam, that has recently replaced the HSPE.  Before enrolling in Algebra 1B, students should have succesfully completed the competencies in Algebra 1A.
