Everything you ever wanted to know about math at Nova. 

Classes range from Algebra I to Calculus and AP Statistics.  Although there are plenty of advanced classes for the students who excel in math, the math department also make a special effort to help students who are frightened by or disenchanted with math.  To that end, many math classes, such as Applied Math, take an application-based approach: learning statistics through school surveys, or studying exponential functions through compound interest.  Math Lounge is offered every semester, providing students extra support and homework help at every level.
